Whilst libraries have remained closed during the lockdown, an alternative way of accessing books has been initiated by Somerset Libraries, working with the Royal Voluntary Service (RVS) to provide a Home Library Service. The service is available to anyone who is unable to visit their local library. This includes people who may be housebound, living in long term care, carers, or people who are vulnerable due to long term conditions or disabilities. The service is open to people of all ages.
Access the service and to view ebooks/audio ebooks, newspapers and magazines for free.
For more information about this service contact the RVS – email Kirsty.Jenssen@royalvoluntaryservice.org.uk or call 07920 250834
